Unix Systems Administrator, South Dublin, Financial Services
Your role will involve administering and supporting the technical infrastructure, which will include UNIX and Linux server systems, JAVA application servers, HTTP servers, hardware and other related components that are currently maintained and supported by the Systems Support group. A brief summation of some of the responsibilities: Planning, scheduling and installing software and hardware upgrades; Analysing systems resource usage; Providing support; Monitoring the UNIX / Linux systems resource usage such as CPU, Disk capacity, I/O and providing monthly reports on usage trends and peaks.
