Well it's been a slow start to the week for me with the Bank Holiday hence the delay in this week's review, forgive me!
This week the wannabe Bill Cullens were working with the Renault brand (who knew that would happen at some stage?), launching the latest model of the Megane and essentially marketing (or morketing as one person was heard to say) and selling cars. Not an easy task for some, poor Shane was deemed too posh to be a car salesman and didnt quite manage to hit the ground running. Stuart who has experience to be fair (surprise surprise) flew through the task, except for the parking bit - Bill wasn't too impressed that he elected to park the cars himself and it took far too long when the other team delegated the task to the staff in the garage and it took ten minutes!
Nicky and Sarah were team leaders this week, Nicky was deemed very indecisive which was almost to her detriment, this is something I can identify with because I tend to be fairly indecisive myself but usually about what to order off a menu or where to go on a night out, not whether to order fliers or not for an event, make a decision and stick to it woman! Sarah to be honest I didnt see too much of but the team rated her well so she got through and her team managed to sell more cars so they won the task.
Nicky kept Mark and Joanna in the boardroom with her, Mark had been very off form all throughout the task and made a comment at the beginning about how he didnt like selling cars which to me was the first nail in his coffin, I mean come on, who is judging you on this? whose apprentice will you be? the ultimate car salesman! Joanna fought her corner as usual with her manic smile and flashing eyes and managed to scrape through, Mark's own admission that he should be fired was the final nail in the coffin and fired he was!
I'd like to make an early prediction that Brenda will win - she's consistantly good as both leader and team member and the least annoying!!
