Products/Services The Conferencing & Collaboration business unit provides teleconferencing and web conferencing services, including operator-assisted and automated teleconferencing and web-based document sharing tools. Its Data Communications segment enables enterprise-wide automation of critical communications and business process activities, such as confirmation of scheduled appointments and notification of past-due bills. It also moves companies away from paper-based document management systems, enabling electronic creation and distribution of invoices and other documents. Due to continued expansion we have an immediate vacancy for a motivated HR Manager to work in our European HQ, idyllically set in Clonakilty, West Cork. (35 MILES FROM CORK CITY).
Position Profile: - Reporting to the VP, Human Resources – Europe, the HR Manager will have responsibility for assisting in delivering effective HR services across Premiere Global Services operations as directed.
- The role is based in Clonakilty & will require regular travel to other European locations.
- Fluency in English and fluency in a 2nd European language is essential. (French or/and German preferable).
Candidate Profile: - 3rd Level Qualification in HR, Business or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a similar HR role
- Fluency in English is essential for this role
- Fluency in German or French is essential for this role
- Previous experience in a HR department is essential
- Previous payroll experience is also essential
- Experience working in a multinational organisation with multi-national employees is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent working knowledge of local working practices and employment legislation
- Ability to interact with confidence and effectively with Junior and Senior Management
- Have a proven ability to be a strong team player and promote teamwork and provide support at all levels
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills.

Main Responsibilities Recruitment - Work to headcount budget as directed
- Ensure approval process is followed at all times for all recruitment and changes in headcount (using the formal requisition forms).
- In conjunction with local Management, drive recruitment for all functions as required and approved.
Payroll Administration - Collation, preparation and completion of all information for monthly payroll in conjunction with payroll providers as required
- All benefits such as Pension, Healthcare and Social Security administration for all countries
Employee Development & Training - Work closely with Management on career pathing and succession planning for employees in all areas of the Company.
- Work with Management in an effort to foster a “learning” culture to ensure employees are multiskilled.
- Identify and monitor the performance of training suppliers.
Compensation & Benefits - Research, develop and implement C&B policies ensuring equity and consistency while simultaneously ensuring C&B’s are market competitive
- Ensure legal/tax compliance in the C&B process.
- Communicate and educate employees in the technical areas of C&B’s.
- Align C&B programs for all employees in line with in country legislation and best practice
Communication - Foster a culture of excellent communication in line with business policy.
- In conjunction with European HR team, calendar regular Executive communication sessions
Employee Relations - Coach & support Directors / Managers particularly with regard to in-country employee relation’s protocols and legal framework.
- Ability to liaise and foster good working and partnering relationships with the Workers Council.
Performance Management: - Develop performance management systems, processes and standards.
- Ensure end of probation and annual performance assessments are carried out.
