Landmark Technologies Ltd currently has a vacancy for an IT Helpdesk Technician.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Providing IT technical support to clients via remote, telephone and email
• Logging calls into our call management system
• Following all documented processes and procedures
• Determining priority of calls
• Analysis of issues and problem solving
• Escalating calls to field service engineers where necessary
• Take responsibility for issues logged and ensuring resolution
• Carrying out other tasks as required
Experience with most of the following is required and training will be provided for the remainder
• Windows 2000,XP & 2003
• Windows 2003 SBS Server / 2003 Server
• Microsoft Exchange
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Printer / Scanner setup and configuration
• Desktop Hardware setup and upgrades
• Server & User Management
• Ghost
• Microsoft Office
• Anti-Virus Software
• VPN Software
• Symantec Backup Solutions
• Internet, DNS etc..
• Firewalls & routers
• Networking cabling and switches
• Previous experience with an IT service provider would be advantageous.
Skills
• Excellent fault-finding and trouble shooting skills
• Excellent customer care skills
• Fluent English both written and verbal
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to prioritise and act on own initiative
