A Leading commercial company operating in forestry,land based businesses,renewable energy & panel products is currently seeking to recruit a civil engineer to join its Engineering Team in Portlaoise.The Engineering Team builds 150km of new roads and upgrades 200km . The Annual Road Programme consists of a series of road projects using low cost engineering techniques to construct unbound roads.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Qualified to FETAC Level 7 in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years experience in civil engineering works.
- Development of the annual road programme to access the timber harvest.
- Survey, design and construction of the annual road programme with strict time and budget guidelines.
- Management of the road construction programme.
- Undertake other civil engineering duties in bridge and culvert construction.
- Undertake boundary and drainage surveys.
- Ensure all operations meet environmental and safety standards.
- Maintain excellent working relations with internal and external customers.
