EVENTS SPECIALIST - GERMAN

Location: Munich, Germany
ROLE:
The ideal candidate will be coordinating international Core Tradeshows, VIP events, Knowledge exchange meetings and other marketing-related events in EMEA.
The candidate will execute on event marketing projects as well as develop new ways of reaching new and existing customers.
Coordinate tradeshows and other marketing-related events in EMEA reporting to the EMEA Events Director.
Using events to eductate c-level people on the company's enterprise initiatives.
Responsible for event research, pre-event evaluations, events vendor contacts, program logistics, field communication and post-event analysis.
REQUIREMENTS:
Native German speaker and excellent English.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event planning and marketing communication, preferably in a Technology Company.
Must be familiar with the Technology Industry.
Must have presentation skills, written and verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Must have strong project-management, organizational, coordination, negotiating and follow through skills (multitasking).
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Must be flexible, adaptable and self motivated.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Must have ability to meet deadlines.
Computer proficiency, knowledge of database programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) and strong internet skills.
The position will require extensive travel.
