Job Description/Responsibility:
The Engineer will be responsible for working within a design team to achieve complex layout requirements on new and existing projects.
• Hardware design
• PCB design Rigid/flexi-rigid,multi layer
• VHDL/FPGA
• Work to IPC Design Standard
• Design Verification testing
• Debugging new and pre existing product
• Test equipment/Hardware design and build
• Design of electronic products for high reliability
• Participate in defining functional requirements for new products, and translating these into technical specifications.
• Component selection & testing
• To ensure design and configuration document control is maintained throughout the design process.
Requirements
• 3rd level electronic engineering qualification within a relevant discipline.
• 1-2 years experience in hardware design in a product development environment.
• Experience of PCAD/Cadence/Pads
• Experience of managing design projects
• Experience of Analogue/Digital circuits
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication process
• Knowledge of SMT/PTH automated manufacturing assembly
