In-House Legal Counsel in a large international funds services company. This company is one of the world's largest independent administrator of funds with offices worldwide. This role will involve responsibility for all in-house legal services required by the Luxembourg office in connection with its business, including reviewing fund documentation for clients (offering and subscription documents, constitutive documents and material agreements); drafting and negotiating Administration Agreements; liaising with legal counsel in other company offices and with client's counsel in relation to their funds' legal requirements, compliance, corporate governance and documentation; acting as first point of contact for all in-house legal queries for the Luxembourg office and providing internal legal advice including impact of legislative and regulatory changes; reviewing and negotiating legal contacts and other agreements; advising management on any and all legal matters relating to clients' funds; liaising with funds' registered offices, any stock exchange on which a fund client's securities are listed and working closely with lawyers from other areas of the company on multi-jurisdictional transactions and initiatives.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years PQE either in an established law firm or an in-house role preferably dealing with financial services – specifically funds. You will be required to have excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills, a good commercial awareness and excellent drafting skills. The package is between €70-75,000, depending on experience, and includes pension, healthcare and bonus.
