Marketing Programs Senior Consultant communicates and translates the Dell OEM vision/strategy into concrete Marketing plans and is responsible for executing on the functional business/marketing goals.
Core to the role is to adopt manage and improve the OEM division's aggressive growth strategy for the region. He/she addresses problems across functional areas of the business and influences individuals within and outside the Marketing function. Reporting to the Global Marketing Manger, this person manages the marketing plan process and interacts with other Dell Channel, PG and EMF resources (ea. LOB Business Managers, Marcom. Programs, Consultants) in order to role out/implement the marketing plan.

SCOPE:



    Represent EMEA sales needs into larger Dell OEM marketing plan

    In country coordination and execution of all marketing program & activities for Dell OEM division

    Own/drive specific global go-to-market intiatives

    Own the quarterly marketing plan and planning roadmap (weekly plan)

    Ensure seamless localization and readiness for upcoming product launches

    Propose, represent and liaise with central and local corporate communications team. Help determine effective corp communications startegy for EMEA OEM market.

    Work with segment Marcom team on development and implementation of marcom programs in the segment. This includes providing feedback and approval and support for implementation (e.g. localization).

    Participate in EMEA segment marketing SMT meetings: drive coverage of key topics on agenda as appropriate, e.g. sales training, new product launches, marketing programs, etc.

    Own acquisition and R&D program concept development to meet unique needs of EMEA market

    Cooridnate event planning for large customers



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Experience international marketing role or with an MBA. (Technology marketing highly desirable)

• Marketing program management and/or product launch experience

• Experience with communicaitons in relationship/large commercial sales and marketing environments

• Demonstrated comfort with basic financial accounting principles and business analysis
