Health Care Compliance Officer
Permanent role reporting to Finance Director, Medical


Position Overview:
· Responsible for the development and management of effective health care compliance policies and practices within both the Consumer and Medical Device businesses.
· Responsible for co-ordinating the local Regulatory Affairs function leveraging the support of appropriate regional / corporate resources.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Manages day to day operation of healthcare compliance in a sales & marketing environment to ensure adherence to company and regulatory requirements
  • Revises and enhances HCC policies and practices in line with changing local needs and/or corporate and regulatory guidelines
  • Investigates and resolves compliance problems and implements corrective action
  • Develops HCC training, communications, enforcement and auditing practices
  • Performs HCC testing, prepares required paperwork, holds appropriate records and issues update reports to management
  • Acts as internal consultant on Regulatory / HCC matters
  • Co-ordinates local regulatory affairs deliverables of key regulatory stakeholders
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Third level degree qualification, preferably in the regulatory area
3+ years experience in HCC / Regulatory or related function, preferably in a commercial environment A proven track record in developing policy and implementing process change
A record of working in a team environment
Full clean drivers licence

Key Technical Skills Required
Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Excellent presentation and communication skills
