Manager of Global Public Relations

My client is a world leading Marketing Organisation employing 500 staff in South Dublin. They specialise in the Online Gaming industry and are currently experiencing massive growth.

There is an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Global Public Relations Manager to join the team. The role will report dirctly to the Head of HR and the majority of your time will be spent in Dublin. International travel will be required and due to different time zones, you will need to be available 24 hours/day.

Responsibilities

  • Expanding a Global PR structure/strategy
  • Analysis and monitoring of PR performance.
  • Working with the copy team and legal team drafting and distributing press releases, and public statement.
  • Managing the existing media database and cultivation of existing and new media contacts.
  • Pitching the company and the pros for interviews and media coverage.
  • Securing media exclusives and PR partnerships with the press
  • Working with various departments to support and ensure efficient and effective marketing & communications in all territories, across all lines including online, offline, ground events, print and television.
Requirements

  • 10 years Public Relations experience
  • In-House PR experience is required
  • Interest and knowledge of the Online Gaming industry
  • Experience in the Online Gaming industry is a distinct advantage
  • Strong Event Management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience dealing with multiple cultures and languages
  • Ability to travel is essential
  • Experience in the management of PR for television production, working in tandem with various, international production companies and broadcasters
  • Multiple project management skills
