Research and Development Manager
A leading Manufacturing company requires a Research and Development Manager for its Cork operations
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to further his/her career. This role will be hands-on and having a commerical ability is an advantage.
Duties
Managing the development of new products and technologies through to bulk production
.Liaising with partners and suppliers on the development of raw materials.
Carrying out R&D product validation analysis
Co-ordinate R&D projects, set timelines, and ensure the progression of such projects against required timelines
Creating R&D engineering documentation, draft specifications and ensure they comply with applicable SOP's, EH & SS
Maintaining lab equipment and records
Conducting internal audits in compliance with the audit schedule required of ISO 9001 and IPPC licence
The successful candidate for thsi role will have the following:
- Diploma/degree in Chemistry/Polymer
- At least 4 years work experience in an adhesive/polymers industry.
- Must have excellent communication, IT and project management skills
Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 plus benefits
