Responsibilities
General
Manage daily administration of exchange traded, OTC instrument pricing and master file set-ups for hedge fund clients.
Managing team including providing input to staff appraisals, work scheduling & training
Ensure the AIS Pricing team provide accurate and timely services to all internal and external parties Research new instrument types & appropriate valuation treatments for a variety of instruments; Credit Default Swaps (loan, single entity & index), exotic options, loans, ASCOT, TRS, IRS and CMS as well as Fixed Income & Equity § Evaluate the integrity of derivative data relative to market movements
Testing the accuracy of pricing methodologies & systems
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate shall gain exposure to a number of departments and functions:
New Business:
work with line-management with the take-on of new business & the rollout of services to existing funds Fund Accounting Support Teams (Corporate Actions/ Trade Support & Derivatives)
Training Department:
Assist with development & roll out of internal & external training courses
Project management:
manage & maximise the benefit of existing data vendor services to improve automation and efficiency.
