Position Summary:
You will be responsible for scheduling the production of products to meet customer's requirements and purchasing product in a timely and cost effective manner to meet Production schedules. Proactively seek to drive out cost through negotitation with vendors on pricing.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Agressivley negotiate pricing to provide competitively priced products as per customer specifications.
- Purchase and expedite production inventory to meet production requirements.
- Work with the other buyer/planners in the team to ensure the availability of product to meet production schedules
- Generate production schedules to meet forecasted demands and sales orders.
Education / Experience
- Degree or Equivalent Qualification
- Relevant experience in similar role and industry
- Fluent English and preferably German (but not essential)
- Minimum 4 years experience in a demanding purchasing / scheduling role within a fast paced manufacturing environment prefereable.

- Self starter with high degree of initiative.
- Must have a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work with and empathise with colleagues and customers from varied cultures and backgrounds.
- Be an expert on negotiation with a demonstrable track record of successfully developing and managing internal and external relationship
