Purpose of the Role:


Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing new services for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland in the West / North-West Region together with the management of existing regional operations of the Residential, Community and Transitional Living Services.
  • Management, direction and coordination of all quality processes and quality accreditation across the organisation


Working as part of the management team you will be responsible for directly influencing the future direction of the organisation’s approach and development of these regional services.


Job Functions / Responsibilities


Duties:
The role of the Regional Manager will include:

· Developing new services for people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) appropriate to their need and within the remit of the organisation
· Managing regional operations of existing services.
· Responsible for building good working relationships with HSE and Partner Organisations
· Manage the quality control system in operation in ABII
· Lead the quality process initiatives under the accreditation requirements
· Building and nurturing a client-focused culture
· Responsible for conformance to standards and accreditation for all services in the region
· Recruitment, development and training of services employees


The successful candidate will need the following skills, competencies and qualifications to meet the demands of the role:
· 5 years related experience in the Disability Sector at a senior level with at least 3 years experience at a management level
· A relevant 3rd level qualification in the Health and Social care sector
· Qualification/Experience in quality systems, understanding standards, performance indicators and measurement outcomes
· The ability to lead a team and facilitate intra disciplinary teamwork
· Experience in identifying and focusing on the needs of persons’ served in individual development planning
· You will have demonstrated success in forging good relationships with key partners
· Full driving licence essential
