A senior who has spent a lot of time in building a new business (it could own business – we will need some proof as evidence)
• Hands on business development experience in Financial Services sector (Payments Systems Products) for a minimum of 15 years. (example, demonstrable knowledge of financial products, market demand/supply matching, planning & managing market survey, pipe line planning, marketing campaign including construction of value proposition, fliers etc)
• Supporting the Head of business service with constructing and validating forward looking vision and strategy, and looking after the team and dealing with the operational issues
• Demonstrable experience of payment technology and service provision
• Demonstrable experience of building partnership with other players for value added service provision
• Experience of building rules of obligations (Memorandum of Understanding, letter of intent, various prima-facie contracts including SLA etc)
• Experience of planning and managing projects.
• Experience of finance .e.g. product costing, profitability calculation, cash flow forecast, Profit & Loss account, management of cash burn rate etc.
• Ability to develop business cases and opportunity in the payments industry.
• Hands of experience of designing and building a new function (i.e. part of a new organisation)
• Managing teams of people including their appraisal, development, mentoring/coaching etc.
