|
Global Supply Chain Planner required for major Galway based multinational.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand Planning/Scheduling
- Assist GSCM and Marketing with forecast generation and review.
- Review replenishment targets and recommend changes noting input elements resulting in change
- Work with Supply Chain team to identify all known demand sources (scheduling agreements, distributor shipment, consignment, etc.)
- New Product Launch Management
- Assist Supply Chain PDP Core Team Member
- Provide data and analysis to assist with the development of forecasts, cannibalization plans, introduction schedules
- Inventory Management
- Contribute to the development of inventory plans
- Monitor inventory performance to plan and targets
- Assist GSCM with management of expired, excess and obsolescence reserves
- Supply Chain Execution
- Support daily/weekly/monthly planning processes
- Assist with forecast maintenance (Marketing Handshake)
- Monitor manufacturing execution (Manufacturing Handshake)
- Provide inventory analysis
- Proactively manage backorders
- Support S&OP Process
- Ensure completion of the Quality Policy annual commitment, and ensure compliance to all training requirements outlined in Learning Connect.
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports company's Quality Policy, Quality System and appropriate regulations for the areas supported
Qualifications
- Four year degree in Materials Management or related field/equivalent work experience
- One+ year experience in a manufacturing planning or inventory control function
- Strong PC skills utilizing such software programs as Excel, Access, Monarch, Word and Power Point
- Ability to interact with cross-functional peers.
- Performs to a high level of accuracy in all tasks
- Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures
- Analytical problem solving skills.
- Detail oriented and organized
- Working knowledge of DRP, MPS, and MRP
Desired:
- APICS certification
- Experience utilizing SAP or Legacy systems
- JIT experience in a manufacturing environment
