My client a highly prestigious Insurance company based in Dublin City , are currently seeking a Senior Payment Protection Insurance Underwriter specializing on the non-life side of Insurance.
Role Responsibilities
• Build and modify the product offer in relation to various aspects i.e.; contracting, pricing, new guarantees.
• Propose and run pricing tools.
• Implement profitability and stress scenarios tests.
• Collect and maintain table of pricing assumptions by product.
• Review contractual documents produced by the Policy Servicing Executive.
• Work on budgets and ad-hoc technical reports with the Development Department and Actuarial teams.
• Assess reinsurance protection needs.
• Participate to the definition of the underwriting policy watching legal and regulation frameworks.
• Manage 3 staff directly: work allocation, meeting timescale, checking.
• Control compliance with work rules and regulations.
The Candidate:
This position will perfectly suit to someone with the following skills:
• Part-qualified Actuary/Statistical/Mathematics Graduate.
• 3 to 5 years experience in non-life Insurance.
• Excellent personal organization skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Good analytical and decision making skills.
• English fluency is required.
• It is required that you have Payment Protection Insurance experience.
