Financial Accountant

Our client, an International Life Assurance company is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their finance Dept. This role will evolve into a Management position for the best fit candidate

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the review of monthly accounts including income statements and Balance Sheet.
  • Liaison with Internal and External Auditors and various business units and functions within the organisation
  • Analysis of detailed accounting information by financial fund for the quarterly accounts and for the Actuarial Dept.
  • Reconciliation of trading margin
  • Preparation of budgets/Forecasts
  • Cash flow Reporting
  • To ensure full compliance with all company standards, processes and procedures.


    • Qualifications

  • Ideally ACA, ACCA qualified
  • 5+ experience within the Life Assurance market
  • Excellent people management and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation
