Creating and publishing online layouts, functionality and content. Develops unique ideas and approaches for online publish activities.
Key Duties:
· Work with users and team colleagues to define and maximise usability of systems
· Proactive updates of online content and templates as required
· Design online content with regard to required layout, typography, navigation and usability standards
· Web production - create, publish and maintain online content/websites
· Update tracking and tagging as required.
· Search and site optimisation of all relevant websites.
· Prepare and deliver artwork in-line with requirements.
· Build functionality into online content using Flash/ActionScript animation, within brand guidelines.
· Maximise online promotion of self-service content.
· Perform other duties set by management when required to meet the needs of the business.
Job Dimensions
· Very strong JSP, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS skills. Proficiency with Macintosh and PC platforms and all common browsers.
· Strong expertise in user-interface design and web usability.
· Good experience of Flash, Dreamweaver, CMS systems, Wikis and FTP applications.
· Good experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
· 3 yrs experience developing promotional websites and other online content required.
· Understanding of related Web issues, including colour, site architecture, navigation, type and accessibility.
Qualifications & Experience :
Desirable
· Experience with Content Management Systems – Interwoven Team Site a plus.
· Wiki configuration and layout a plus.
· Knowledge of ActionScript a plus.
