THE ROLE:
*Responsible for analysis, design and implementation of future applications to support supply chain development.
*The role will involve the application of Information Technology solutions to drive key business improvements. *Liaise with internal operations / IT departments at all facilities and Suppliers to optimize supply chain performance
*Analysing business requirements and ensuring delivery of solutions that will contribute to the site-wide process excellence initiatives within the supply chain
*Develop strong links with the user community to drive Business Process Improvement through more effective use of IT systems.
*Extract data using PRMS query tools for reporting and business analysis.
*Use problem-solving skills to analyse issues and identify effective solutions
*Participate in first functional tests upon release, through to full user acceptance testing.
*Expertise in the ERP System among user community. Work with user community to drive Business Process
*Improvement through more effective use of IT systems.
*Set up new accounts / item masters and manage account maintenance/ changes.
*Role offers interaction with the business community and software development and IT infrastructure groups.
REQUIREMENTS:
*3rd level qualification in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management/Logistics or other equivalent is required.
*3-5 years Logistics / Supply Chain experience preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
*Excellent project management skills Ability to drive project from concept through planning, development and implementation.
*High aptitude for understanding systems, gathering data and performing research, excellent ability to see opportunities and develop proactive plans and implement solutions
*Individual must possess strong leadership skills, proven ability to teach and coach individuals in technical areas. The individual should enjoy working in a disciplined, dynamic and results motivated team
*Firm knowledge of business systems and PC packages, Operational knowledge of PRMS is desirable
