HR Generalist
The HR Generalist will lead and support execution of HR site business strategy via application of HR processes and tools throughout organisation.
Key Responsibilities for the HR Generalist
- Uses HR experience to provide guidance and support to other members of the HR Team as required.
- Provide staffing and recruitment assistance in identifying, interviewing and selecting qualified candidates; assist in new hire integration and manager/team assimilation.
- Provide support and guidance to customer groups to ensure consistent, equal, and fair treatment of their employees.
- Conduct investigation of complaints and concerns that could result in legal ramifications, assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on established practice.
- Administer and provide guidance related to compensation and benefits issues.
- Facilitate the timely, accurate and appropriate communication of compensation programs.
- Answer inquiries while ensuring consistency on HR policies and procedures, and reinforce adherence as appropriate.
- Assist in the communication of performance management tools and processes, and in the year-end PADR process.
- Provide guidance to customer group(s) on employee performance issues that may involve employee discipline and/or termination.
- Present, train and facilitate training programs on an as-needed basis.
- Analyses situations or data, conducts research when necessary and makes appropriate recommendations.
- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
Education for the HR Generalist
Typical requirements include BA or BS Degree and 5+ years of post qualification experience or Master's Degree with 3+ years of related HR experience along with knowledge of legal implications of the employment relationship. Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Demonstrated knowledge in the disciplines of HR. Demonstrated ability to identify and problem-solve issues.
