We require an experienced Sales Administrator for our client who is a FMCG company based in Stillorgan, County Dublin.

This role is covering a six (6) to nine (9) month maternity contract commencing August 2009.

The role is to ensure close liaison with customers and colleagues regarding the smooth processing of orders, deliveries, queries and dealings with the Sales Force.

The duties of the Sales Administrator include:

  • Liaising with on the road Sales Representatives
  • Taking orders over the phone and internet
  • Tracking orders
  • Liaising with warehouse and shipping company
  • To provide PODs to any customers that request them within the shortest time
  • Ensure prompt and accurate transfers of all calls, faxes, emails etc. to SAP
  • General ad hoc office administration duties
  • Answering incoming calls as required


Applicants for the Sales Administrator role must have :

  • Fluent / mother tongue English
  • At least three years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent computer skills including Advanced Excel
  • At least two years continuous experience working with SAP (R3 an advantage)
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Previous experience working for an FMCG would be an advantage

The office hours are 9am to 5.30pm
The salary would be €26,000 to €28,000 pro rata depending on experience
