Job Purpose
· Debug of Digital and RF systems to component level
· To improve / maintain throughput and quality
· To work on a shift basis in tandem with production
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in resolving debug problems efficiently and effectively
· Monitor and investigate yield issues
· Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement within the debug team
· Continuously improve debug related processes
· Be familiar with all test operator roles so as to understand functionality of the test process
Key Competencies Required
· Technical competency and analytical skills in electronics and application of electronics theory to real world situations
· Experience of SMT debug an advantage
· Ability to read and understand circuit schematics and PCBA assembly drawings
· Proactive and highly motivated approach to fault finding on multiple board assemblies
· Computer literacy, in particular MS Office
· Good planning and organisational skills
· Good interpersonal and communications skills
· Ability to work well in a target driven environment under minimum supervision
Advantageous
Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyser and RF communication test set
Previous Relevant Work Experience
· 2 – 3 years in high volume manufacturing,
· Exposure to ISO-9000 / WCM,
· Familiar with PCBA testing and troubleshooting,
Minimum Qualifications:
Certificate in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
ORTechnical qualification plus 4 years relevant experience
