RESOURCE PLANNING ANALYST
Main Purpose of Job:
The Forecasting Analyst's main responsibility is to provide accurate forecasts based on historical seasonality and current call trends for a multi contact environment. Provide capacity staffing plan to ensure the smooth running of the recruitment process and the training plan. Provide detailed analysis of deviations to forecast and be able to explain these to both the internal and external stakeholders.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provide detailed statistical analysis based on historical information and current trends for a multi stream environment including inbound, outbound and email
• Provide short, medium and long term forecasting models to ensure current trends are used to provide timely and accurate forecasts to the business
• An ability to "talk with numbers". Must have an ability to quantify and support conclusions with data
• Interpret the numbers to ensure the business is aware of any issues that may occur due to a change in forecast or ad hoc campaigns
• Develop and maintain capacity planning methodology and models to ensure the smooth running of the operation
• Analyse and understand contact centre data and apply to forecasting models for activity volume, resource and seating requirement
• Provide detailed assumptions to back up forecast requirements
• Lead forecasting and planning weekly meetings and attend client meetings as required
Minimum Requirements :
• Have strong relative experience in a contact centre/logistics environment along with associated methodologies
• A proven track record for forecast accuracy and meeting deadlines within a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Be proficient in Microsoft packages e.g. Excel, Word, Power point.
• Exceptional spreadsheet skills. Ability to create forecasting and operational models
• Possess strong analytical skills with excellent communication, literacy & interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to handle multiple tasks & prioritise on an ongoing basis
• Strong communication skills and thrive in a team environment
