Global funds leader managing in excess of €1 trillion in assets for 3000+ clients seeks to appoint ambitious funds expert to its London based European Legal team.
A newly created role, sitting with one of the four teams under the head of European legal and product governance, the appointee will advise on the establishment and maintenance of equity hedge funds, other activity equity products, index equity funds and fund of funds products (domiciled in the Cayman Islands and Ireland). The successful candidate will also advise on off-shore structures (memorandum and articles/trust deeds, offering documents, investment management agreements, custody agreements, administration agreements etc), as well as futures clearing agreements, ISDA master agreements, CSAs and related ISDA annexes, charge arrangements and netting arrangements.

The successful candidate will have 4 – 8 years funds experience gained at a leading investment management house, hedge fund / fund of funds provider, prime brokerage experience gained at an investment bank or leading private practice. In addition, the appointee will have excellent interpersonal skills, a highly commercial outlook along with a confident proactive approach in dealings with both senior management and external clients
