PharmEng Engineering requires an Electrical Project Engineer on a long term hourly rate contract basis for one of our client sites based in Switzerland. It is essential that you have fluent French and/or English or Germen as well

PharmEng is a Process Engineering Company who also specialise in contract and permanent manpower. We are based in the UK and Ireland. We have contract and permanent staff working for us in the France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, North America and Asia.

PharmEng has highly skilled engineers and scientists with expertise in a variety of areas including Process, Validation, Electrical and Instrumentation, Mechanical, QA, QC, Automation, Maintenance, and Health & Safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the electrical installations in the New Building AreaLiase with the electrical engineers to ensure 100% coverage of day-to-day site activities and progress.
  • Ensure efficient coordination with other technical disciplines and buildingsDefine and update schedule as required for work package priorities.
  • Study complexity, technical & utility implications of each package and manage constructability and installation.Propose recovery strategy to electrical contractors and installers if agreed schedules are not met or at risk.
  • Drive the procurement schedule for the electrical work packages with the area managers, system owners and procurement.
  • Supervise all electrical construction and installation, in particular direct supervision of subcontractors and on site vendors.
  • Develop with CM schedulers Detailed Construction Schedules for work packagesSchedule, chair, minute meetings, follow up actions.
  • Lead system walk-downs and prepare detailed punch lists of deficiencies, & manages corrections

Experience / Education

  • 10+ years work experience including at least one large/complex electrical project.
  • Experience in managing/supervising projects and teams (including subcontractors).
