Our client, a market leader in Fresh Foods and Quality Customer Service currently has opportunities available for an experienced Duty Manager.
In this role, you will be responsoble for the day to day operation of the supermarkets Ambient offering
Principal Accountabilities include:
Ensuring that departments meet projected sales and contribution targets
Ensuring that food safety is everyone's priority and responsibility
To ensure all labour, stock control ordering and margins are documented and communicated in accordance with required procedures
To manage all products stocked within the store in accordance with best practice and ensure staff flexibility throughout the store is maintained
To ensue excellence in customer service at all times
To take responsibility for the general management of the store when required
The successful candidates will have a proven track record within a retail environment, have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a commitment to customer service. The ability to train, develop and motivate staff is also an important requirement for the job. At least 2 year's previous management experience within a Retail environment and/or an equivalent professional qualification would be an advantage. Salary €35-42K
