We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor - Packaging for a well established pharmaceutical company, based in their Packaging Facility in Cork.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the the daily inspection, packaging and labelling of pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.

Specific Responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day supervision of a team of manufacturing technicians
  • Scheduling of production activities in conjunction with QA/QC and Inventory Control
  • Ensuring batch records are completed
  • Providing guidance and coaching to technicians
  • Recruitment, training and performance management of technicians
  • Involvement in Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence
  • Documenting and investigating any deviations
  • Ensuring quality and safety procedures and practices are adhered to


Requirements include:

  • Ideally Degree qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Experience within an IMB/FDA regulated packaging facility is essential
  • Previous experience in a team lead / supervisory role is essential
  • Self-motivated, ambitious individual who thrives in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment
