GENERAL MANAGER
for a Contemporary Restaurant in Dublin.
A candidate with high end restaurant experience in a guide listed Restaurant preferred.
Main Scope and purpose of the job:
- To direct, control and organise staff and resources to ensure the efficient running of the establishment in accordance with Company Policy.
- To ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
- To use your own initiative to work.
- Take responsibility for yourself and your team of both front of house
Primary Duties include:
- To direct, control and organise your staff in selling, presentation and service so as to ensure maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
- To implement a complete selling procedure.
- To know about all products /their ingredients etc
- To account for all cash, charge and stock transactions.
- To be fully conversant and comply with the health, safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations and procedures of the establishment, and to ensure others are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
- To ensure that Service, Food and Drinks meet the high standards of the operation, and are to Customer's satisfaction.
- To maintain a high level of co-operation with all other individuals within the Company.
- To serve customers, take orders
- Answering the phone in a professional manner, deal with queries and complaints, take reservations with the smooth running of the restaurant in mind.
- Stock control
- To give all staff proper induction and training and to ensure that standards, duties and responsibilities are fully explained and understood
- Be friendly and courteous towards all customers
- To offer help when needed, to both staff and senior management
- Dealing with Cash, Lodgements etc for the operation
- Any other duties directed to you by the owners, relevant to your position.
Minimum of 3-5 years Senior Management/Restaurant Manager experience in Ireland is required!
