THE ROLE:
*A key role within the Human Resources Dept with responsibility for the development and implementation of Training & Development processes that will have a direct and positive impact on the performance of the business, as well as enhance the skills of employees at all levels. A proven track record in a similar role with experience in a large volume fast paced organisation that includes knowledge of Quality Systems to ISO standards.
*You will take control of learning and development needs of the organisation using innovative methods and technologies to improve performance
*Support the management team by providing Training & Development advice and expertise
*Liaise with and build relationships with external training providers
*Plan training interventions in such a way as to cause minimum disruption to the business
*Proactively assess training needs throughout the organisation
*Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan(s) in line with business goals and objectives
*Ensure that accurate training records are well maintained
*Manage the training budget and procure training solutions in a cost effective manner
REQUIREMENTS:
*You should have 3 - 5 years experience at middle management level with clarity of vision, a strategic thinker with the communication skills to influence at the highest level.
*You must also be keen to promote equality and diversity in working practices.
*Ideally educated to degree level with a qualification in a relevant discipline
*A confident, organised, self-starter the successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and influencing skills with both excellent presentation and communication skills
