Senior HR Generalist


Responsible for a variety of human resources programs and policies, often encompassing several areas of human resources, including strategic and functional operational support, recruitment and benefits, and adhoc projects. Assignments may include development, implementation, and evaluation of programs or policies, and may focus on service delivery within a segment of the firm, acting as a strategic business partner, providing advice and recommendations. May provide input to or define short and long-term goals and objectives for human resource service delivery.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Targets appropriate resources, gathers and analyzes data and makes recommendations relative to assigned projects
May coordinate smaller scale projects within the functional specialty
Works closely with HR Operations team to ensure consistent support of the business. Participates in planning for and implementation of HR programs and systems
Develops operating plans, procedures, processes and supporting documentation in assigned function.
Interprets and communicates relevant policy and program information to employees and managers through personal consultation, development of written materials and presentations.
Anticipates and diagnoses basic issues and problems, and presents them with alternative solutions to management for guidance or resolution. Coach/Counsel employees and managers in the area of employee relations
Performs technical and administrative coordination tasks acting as required on existing or new information
Drives best practice in employee development and talent management within assigned function.

EDUCATION
Primary degree in HR or business-related discipline is essential as well as 5 years plus experience in a similar role.
