No Name Club Ltd is a National Voluntary Youth Organisation with over 40 clubs across the country.

As part of the organisations continued growth and development, the following 3 full-time positions are available on a 1 year contract basis which may be renewable

Training Officer x 3 (Locations: Northwest, South West, East)

Job Description
As part of our expansion we are looking for 3 experienced individuals who will take responsibility for training and supporting our team of dedicated volunteers across the country. Each Training Officer will be assigned a geographical area containing a number of existing affiliated clubs and the will be expected to have the following responsibilities within the area assigned to them.
Key Responsibilities
Trained as Trainers
Training Officers will under-go a 6 day training programme with the objective of this training for trainers programme to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver up to sixteen hours of training to No Name Club volunteers, in modular format on health related topics, relevant to young people.
Delivering health related training modules
The Training Officer is responsible for delivering that training programme up to 8 x 2 hour modules on behalf of the No Name Club including the use of innovative ways of delivering information such as presentations, questions and answer sessions, case studies, and group work.
Delivering No Name Club Adult Leader training
The Training Officer will be trained in and then is responsible for providing the new pilot 5 module training programme for No Name Club adult volunteers and evaluating the pilot
Assessing training needs of groups
The Training Officer is responsible for contacting volunteers in their area in consultation with the organisation with a view to assessing and prioritising training needs on an annual basis and to draw up plans for the delivery of such training.
Affiliation of existing and new clubs
Including assisting clubs in the recruitment and training of Hosts and Hostesses where necessary, attending cluster meetings, providing necessary support to clubs.
Responding to queries from new communities within their areas
Including attending information meetings, distributing information leaflets, following up enquiries.
Planning, organising and facilitating training events
The Training Officer is responsible for planning, organising and facilitating training events including seminars, workshops and other forums necessary in their area. The Training Officer is also required to represent the organisation at relevant seminars, conferences and training events as required.
Maintain records, evaluations
The Training Officer will be required to maintain records of training carried out, evaluations received and provide monthly progress reports and attend monthly staff meetings
All other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive


Location: Northwest – working from home, South West – working from home,
East – working from National Office

Post: Full-time for an initial one year contract with a six months probation period
Salary: €27,000
