Our client is a Fortune 500, multinational engineering, construction, technology, fabrication, environmental and industrial services organisation. Uniquely positioned in the energy market they are now recruiting a QC with experience in the construction of a nuclear plant for a project in Shanghai.
Job Description
Duties/ Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Quality Control (QC) activities at the construction site during the execution
of a major international nuclear power plant project.
• Implements Quality Control inspection programs to oversee and monitor construction
quality progress and success during the execution of the project.
• Monitors construction activities to ensure quality objectives are met.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• BS/BA degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in responsible assignments in
construction management or construction quality control, including testing and/or
inspection of equivalent manufacturing, construction, and/or installation activities.
• At least two years of this time should be in nuclear construction quality control with
emphasis on project/division QC management;
Or
• High School and a minimum of 10 years experience in responsible assignments in
construction management or construction quality control, including testing and/or
inspection of equivalent manufacturing, construction, and/or installation activities.
• At least two years of this time should be in nuclear construction quality control with
emphasis on project/division QC management.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
