The Company : Our client is a leading player within their field with a number of offices across Ireland
The role : Responsibility for delivering growth plans within Ireland, specifically driving distribution and leveraging existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
· To achieve volume and product mix targets across all outlets and to develop the commercial framework required to sell our range of products in Ireland
· Grow distribution, off a small base, through key routes to market such as gyms / independent sports nutrition retailers / health stores / online retailers / sports shops.
· Exploit the existing partnerships at a retailer level.
· Manage all existing accounts and any news accounts brought on board.
· Review and recommend best way to supply our stock to the Irish market i.e. through appointed distributor or otherwise.
· Monthly reporting.
· Develop marketing plan to raise awareness of the brand in Ireland
· Manage the existing relationships.
· Monitor competitor activity in the marketplace and issue a report monthly.
The Person
Experience and Attributes:
The ideal candidate will have successfully completed a 3rd level qualification in Marketing, Business Studies, Food Business/Science or a related discipline and will possess the following attributes:
· Strong motivation and ambition.
· Strong involvement and/or interest in sports
· Good commercial awareness and common sense with a minimum of 3/5 years experience as a Sales Manager within a FMCG or related environment.
· Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
· Ability to work to stretching targets in a dynamic industry.
· Attention to detail and Customer care focus.
· To work closely with the distribution function to ensure all products are delivered as required by the customer.
· Have good computer skills in Excel & Word ideally should have ECDL.
