Maintenance Engineer urgent;y required for leading Medical Devices company, responsible for the coordination of all maintenance within the operations department, and the management of contractors coming on site.

Role:
*Maintain and review Preventive Maintenance Plans and Procedures for operations maintenance.
*Ensure PM schedules are adequate and timely.
*Ensure Quality compliance for all in house and contract maintenance activities.
*Manage machine history files on the plant CMMS System.
*Maintain and evaluate equipment downtime records, and manage a review process to develop systemic actions to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
*Develop and Implement Continuous Improvement activities to support Lean initiatives, cost reduction, and maintenance excellence.
*Assist with the implementation OEE and other TPM activities. Drive these initiatives within the maintenance department.
*Liaise with process engineers and technicians re equipment improvements.
*Co-ordinate service visits with machine suppliers, review service reports, and ensure service activities are closed as per divisional procedures.
*Co-ordinate maintenance activities to support project and process engineering work.
*Manage the maintenance operations budget, and ensure compliance with financial forecasting process.
*Implement and manage predictive maintenance tools for operations equipment where appropriate.
*Spare parts stores management.
*Assist with the Identification and Implementation of training requirements.
*Assist with Facilities maintenance activities as necessary.

Responsibilities:

*A third level degree in an engineering discipline, with a min of 3/5 yrs relevant experience in a medical device or other relevant environment.
*Proven track record in a maintenance engineering role.
*Knowledge in maintenance best practice systems.
*Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
