My Client is a world leader in International financial services who are looking for an Asset Management/Investment Management professional who has extensive fund product knowledge coupled with extensive Fund Launch and project experience.
The successful candidate will work initially on a project of launching new funds to the market and after that will work within a small operational Team.
You will be
- Responsible for new fund launches including development of operational model and coordination of all key parties
- Expertly manage and assist in Client take on and Manager Restructures
- Provide daily oversight, supervise transactional processes and streamline operational procedures where necessary
- Monitor and manage the service quality from third party service providers
- Develop a relationship with both internal and external parties to the funds so as to be a senior point of contact
- Maintain and enhance our reputation for clients' service through effective and continual inter-action with key clients, and co-ordination of all parties involved in the delivery of client services.
- Maintenance of in-house applications
Experience Required:
- A graduate with at least 8-12 years experience in Investment Management. Experience in client transitions or new product development a distinct advantage
- Ability to think strategically and to drive projects forward
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external clients at all levels
- Detailed technical knowledge of fund structures, parties to the fund and the differing Fund and instrument types (i.e. Alternatives, LDI, Derivatives etc.)
- Understanding of operational and reputation risks in a fund and the operational control environment required to manage these risks
- Ability to work on own initiative within a small team in a challenging environment.
