The role of the Travel Specialist is to sell travel product such as (scheduled and charter flights, car hire and travel insurance to Members) and deliver on with holiday products (exchange, extra holidays, spacebank and renewal), to maximize the company's sales revenue.

Candidadtes need to have at least one year experience working in a travel Agency booking flights using - Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre. Need to be fluent in Swedish and have an understanding of Danish and Norwegian.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver both products (travel & Core), Ensure all personal targets and objectives are achieved through maximizing sales opportunities
• Ensure all calls are promptly and efficiently handled.
• Maintain regular contact with Members in an effort to satisfy their holiday requirements.
• Identifying key Member holiday 'motivation factors' in an effort to find alternatives. Ensuring accurate booking of flights, cars, insurance and all other company products
• Ensuring a top service is delivered to members at all times
• Promoting and maximizing the sale of products
• Ensuring all the necessary documentation is accurately completed after each call
• Ensure all regulations pertaining to travel products are adhered to.
• Making all bookings accurately to eliminate 'write-offs' and member complaints
• Ensuring weekly production targets are met
• Providing excellent service levels
• Making outbound calls to members as business needs dictate
• Working effectively in a fast moving & multi-lingual team
• Keeping up to date with policies & Procedures concerning members

COMPETENCIES
Ability to project a positive attitude, comfort and confidence over the phone. This is done through their tone, pace, diction, inflection, level of enthusiasm, confidence, wit, and the ability to think on one's feet.
Ability to relate to the client. Ability to establish rapport and build relationships over the telephone.
Ability to question. Understanding and using different kinds of questioning techniques.
Ability to listen. Ability to pick up on key issues/ concerns of a client. Ability to stay focussed.
Ability to 'position the product'. Ability to 'plan ahead'/ represent the products and services in ways meaningful and compelling to customers/ take a consultative, problem-solving approach when customers voice concerns/ understanding the features and benefits of the products or services being sold.
Ability to work as part of a team.

EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

Excellent geographical/holiday destination knowledge.
At least 1 years experience as a Travel Consultant, in a sales/target-driven travel environment using a CRS system, Gailleo or Amadeus and a back-office system.
Knowledge of the travel industry, charter and scheduled flights.
Knowledge of the airline carriers and the destinations served by each.
Previous experience with Windows-based software products a necessity.

Salary €24-26K + commission + €2540 language premium per year
