An organisation, based in Mayo, currently have a vacancy for a Training & Development Specialist. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in a similar role with experience in a large volume fast paced organisation that includes knowledge of Quality Systems to ISO standards.
Responsibilities
o You will take control of learning and development needs of the organisation using innovative methods and technologies to improve performance
o Support the management team by providing Training & Development advice and expertise
o Liaise with and build relationships with external training providers
o Plan training interventions in such a way as not to cause minimum disruption to the business
o Proactively assess training needs throughout the organisation
o Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan(s) in line with business goals and objectives
o Ensure that accurate training records are well maintained
o Manage the training budget and procure training solutions in a cost effective manner
Requirements
o You should have 3 – 5 years experience at middle management level with clarity of vision, a strategic thinker with the communication skills to influence at the highest level.
o Educated to degree level with a qualification in a relevant discipline
