HR Generalist - Galway

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for recruitment and selection of new employees up to a certain level in the business
• Headcount Management and issuing of weekly & monthly reports to the Functional Management Team and to Finance including absenteeism reports
• Managing disciplinary procedures as required
• Pro-actively monitoring and managing short term and long-term absenteeism.
• Carrying out special HR and ad hoc projects as required
• Carrying out all HR administration duties where necessary
• Liaising with Payroll & Finance as required (Payroll is outsourced)
• Advising employees on HR policies or procedures where relevant
• Managing all employee requests (on benefits / policies / letter requests)
• Dealing with Work Permit and Visa applications and renewals
• Administration and distribution of salary review letters / bonus / benefits letters
• Delivering induction training to new employees as required
• Tracking probation and co-ordination of induction / post induction reviews
• Managing Time & Attendance system (TMS), setting new employees up on the system, ensuring access details are correct and liaising with system provider where necessary.
• Conducting exit interviews with employees leaving the company
• Keeping up to date with employment legislation and policy
• Working with Head of Finance to promote positive initiatives company
• Training Function
• Health & Safety Function

We are looking for candidates who have 4 years experience in a generalist role. You must be able to manage the HR function as this is a standalone position. You will be CIPD qualified or have a relevant HR qualification.
