Our clients Certification Services Division is focused on delivering a professional, dynamic and client focused external auditor service. Due to continued growth of their business , they are looking to add to their audit team through the appointment of a Quality, Environment and Health & Safety Auditor. Knowledge and experienc of all three areas is essential.
The key tasks are:
To plan and execute QEHS audits.
Manage the audit process for clients from initiation through to certification;
To support and advise the Operations Team on changing client circumstances and requirement
To complete assigned audit tasks and milestones as directed by the Operations Dept.
Assist in training new auditors.
Key Relationships:
Internally with other audit staff, Operation and Quality Manager, Business Development Team, Senior Management across Europe, Communications and IT Department. Externally with INAB/UKAS/SINCERT Auditors, Regulatory Bodies.
Procedures and policies in place for auditing to be followed.
Responsible to Divisional Operations Manager.
Auditor to report and escalate issues as appropriate.
Performance Measures:
Delivery of monthly job list
Delivery of audit milestones
Essential Requirements:
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Minimum Bachelor or University level education in a discipline such as Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent .
Detailed knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001,14001, OHSAS 18001.
Detailed knowledge of Irish EHS legislation, best practice and industry norms
Knowledge and understanding of quality,environmental and OHS management and / or working experience with industry but not necessarily in an international environment.
Experience and/or qualifications as an auditor or consultant.
Minimum 5yrs work experience in relevant sector.
You need to be a self-starter with an ability to work remotely with analytical skills and some understanding of change management.
