- Supervises Equipment Engineering and Process Development activities within medical device facility.
- Develops and drives the implementation of strategic equipment engineering programs.
- Responsible for activities related to technical support and process/equipment development engineering functions for current and next generation products.
- Plans and implements the development of new processes.
- Provides technical leadership and supervision to engineers and technicians.
- Ensures that program objectives are determined and met, logistics are effectively coordinated and budgets are adhered to.
- Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years of related work experience with a strong understanding of equipment design, automation and qualification.
- Supervision experience is required
- Experience in a GMP regulated environment is essential.
- Project Management experience would be a distinct advantage.
