A high standard care facility in Dublin City is now recruiting for an Accommodation Manager.
This care facility is fully occupied and will be developing further soon and requires an experienced Accommodation Manager to maintain the high standards in place and to develop new systems and targets as agreed with the Director of Services.
The client is specifically seeking a HOTEL experienced Accommodation Manager that has managed a large team, has worked to a high standard, has experience with systems and SOP's
This Fantastic Position offers day time work and mainly Monday to Friday Hours with flexibility required for weekend work when required.
Below is a brief synonymous of experience and standards required for this position
Salary Scale of €30,000-35,000 DOE
· To monitor and ensure that all areas of the house are cleaned and maintained in a hygienic condition to the highest standard
· To comply fully with HIQA Standards and environmental health regulations (IS 340 2007). To fully familiarize oneself and your department with the requirements set out in the Care and Welfare of Residents in Designated Centres for Older People Regulations 2009 (SI No 236 of 2009)
· To ensure the accommodation department and all staff complies with the Clinical Emergency Management (CEM) programme with regard to fire safety.
· To develop an SOP manual for the in-house laundry facility. To develop a system for the collection, sorting, washing, drying and storage of laundry. To develop procedures for dealing with residents personal laundry
· To develop system of purchasing and consumption in conjunction with Operational Team and accounts department for all consumable supplies. In particular the proposed food stock system needs to be implemented in conjunction with the Accounts Manager
· To assist the HR Department in HRM activities to include interviews, appraisals and disciplinary meeting
· To produce two weekly roster for accommodation, kitchen, laundry and maintenance staff and submit 3 days in advance for approval
