Title: Head of Operational Excellence & Finance

Role: This role is a senior management appointment within a well established and successful company in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal person will have the following key skills and proven experience:

  1. A recognised accountancy qualification
  2. Has an excellent understanding of Financial and Cost Accounting in the manufacturing sector
  3. Has successfully managed and developed people both as a direct line manager as well as in cross functional teams and has a philosophy of driving change through engagment with people
  4. Possess a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt qualification
  5. Has been involved in and led cross functional process improvement teams in the manufacturing / operations environment, using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies and delivered SMART business results (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely )
  6. Is equipped to contextualise all process improvement initiatives in terms of how they will drive KPI's in the areas of Inventory, Cost, Quality and Cycle time
  7. Has Financial Management acumen at a senior level and has worked in this area.
