Contract headcount required for long term project work with high end top tier enterprise level customers. AS a result of the client portfolio you will be dealing with daily, you will need excellent communication skills though you will not be customer facing per say. CCMP and good switching and routing experience is essential to get past technical screening by the interviewing CCIE.
The Voice over IP and Routing and Switching Specialist engineering role, hold s the primary responsibility of the design, implementation and subsequent support solutions in the Enterprise and Government market for this specialist technical firm.
Responsibilities
*Design, build and support of infrastructure based on existing portfolio (e.g. Cisco, Nortel, RSA) and underpinned by a solid understanding of security requirements and solutions.
*Implementation, including the creation of comprehensive test plans, adherence to existing customer change control procedures and/or establishment of suitably secure/auditable procedures.
*Source, develop and maintain support tools to enhance the technical support function.
*Maintain knowledge of customers' current system and service requirements and utilise where appropriate in designing customer solutions.
*Participate in supplier accreditation programmes relevant to the position, including successful completion of exams.
*Impart knowledge to other members of the Solutions Group e.g. developing wider VoIP-related capability within the core switching/routing-centric team.
