Job Description:
Are you a brilliantly talented individual interested in improving the world's transportation systems? If you are, then my client is currently recruiting a professional services consultant and sales engineer for its US division.
As well as taking on professional services and project delivery responsibility for our US customers, you'll also support the US-based sales team.
You won't just be brilliantly talented; you'll also need to be highly mobile, naturally customer facing, possess excellent analytic skills and you'll have outstanding communications and writing skills, including proposal writing.
You'll come from a technical background, either as an engineer or through your degree in Computer Science. Your experience will span all stages of the project life cycle, from pre-sales support, through requirements and design phases, right through to testing and post-implementation support.

My client provides software and hardware systems for improving transportation efficiency for consumers and transportation operators. Using GPS technology, My client's real-time information systems make seat capacity known and available to passengers, provide convenient ticket purchasing options, and enable extensive reporting capabilities for transportation providers.
My client's Shared Transport product enables private cars to become part of the public transport network. Using iPhone GPS technology and web services to dynamically match spare transport capacity in private vehicles with transport demand from commuters, this free software capability expands transport options by making carpooling and vanpooling more convenient for both drivers and passengers.
My client's Futurefleet system provides fleet operators with end-to-end capabilities, providing in-vehicle ticketing, real-time information to passengers and back-office management and NTD reporting. Futurefleet combines the latest cutting edge hosted services with pricing levels at up to ten times more affordable than previously available in the passenger transportation industry. Systems for as few as 5 buses start from as little as $5,000, including in-vehicle communications and display hardware.
