My client is one of the most well known retailers in the South East. They are currently recruiting a Food Operations Manager to drive their fresh offering in stores.

Excellent Opportunity: €50-60K DOE



The Position:

  • The candidate will be reporting to the Fresh Food Director and main responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring that the Company's high standards are being maintained in the stores, in particular product quality, service, pricing and HACCP
  • Working with Store Management to ensure problems are being dealt with correctly
  • Monitoring and developing fresh food personnel in each store
  • Analysing weekly sales information and following up on problems/ opportunities
  • Following up on fresh food stock-take results and ensuring gross margin is achieved


The Profile:

  • The suitable candidate must:
  • Hold a third level degree
  • Have a minimum of 3 years work experience
  • The degree and/ or work must be related to food production/ food retail
  • Have a positive attitude to retail and a dedicated approach to their work
