PharmEng Engineering requires a Lead HVAC Engineer for one of our client sites based in China on a permanent basis. This is a long term contract for 3-4 years.

PharmEng is a Process Engineering Company who also specialise in contract and permanent manpower. We are based in the UK and Ireland. We have contract and permanent staff working for us in the France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, North America and Asia.

PharmEng has highly skilled engineers and scientists with expertise in a variety of areas including Process, Validation, Electrical and Instrumentation, Mechanical, QA, QC, Automation, Maintenance, and Health & Safety. Job Description





· Bachelor Degree or above, major in HVAC/mechanical engineering & related field. Master degree preferred

· Minimum 15 years total experience, with a minimum of 10 years active involvement in design projects with procurement and construction components, ideally in the Pharmaceutical Industry

· Good knowledge in design and construction of HVAC systems like, but not limited to Outside Air, Recirculation Air, Smoke Exhaust, General Exhaust, Process Exhaust and other Ventilation Systems

· Experienced in specification, evaluation, validation and documentation of HVAC Design

· Specific experience in the design of laboratories for Pharmaceutical/Biochemical production and R&D facilities

· Familiar with international engineering and project execution, have international engineering company or design institute work experience is preferred

· Have relevant discipline work experience and familiar with national and international standard/codes

· Language skill: CET-6, be good at listening, speaking, writing English

· Computer skill: be familiar with engineering software, Auto CAD 2002, 3D, Microsoft office, and e-mail, internet use

· Strong communication / negotiation / and presentation skills

· Proper appearance for active development and discussion at the different design stages with international clients

· Experience in quantity and cost evaluation as well as in preparing system related tender packages

· Leading and supervision of engineering team member related to the project

· Strong ability to work with international project teams, willing to travel

· Project Experience in China preferred
