Buyer/Planner
Description: Materials Management
Scale: approximately €165 million p.a. material usage across 250,000 finished devices p.a.
Overview: site responsibility for material flow to production and shipping requirements.
Duties:
Inbound Goods receipt.
Inbound Goods warehouse and stores management.
Responsibility for inventory management of materials and inventory accuracy: cycle counting.
Responsibility for expediting/positioning materials supply with vendors/ in house buyers and Operations to support production activities on a day to day basis.
Responsibility for liaising with buyers/vendors to develop and ensure consistent operation of Service Level Agreements and maintenance of Material Kanbans.
Responsibility for positioning Literature kitting to support daily Final Pack of Finished Goods.
Management of a team of Material Handlers and stores personnel.
Requirements:
Candidates must be at a senior level with Material Handling experience, inbound logistics experience, warehouse receiving and good working knowledge of SAP.
5+ years experience in medical device or regulated environment.
Degree/Diploma in a relevant subject.
Proven experience in Materials Management, Procurement or Supply Chain operational management.
SAP system knowledge in MM.
Fast thinker, able to deal with the daily pressure of a fast moving production environment
Good teamworking skills.
