My client is recruiting a strong Electrical Controls Engineer with the following background:

  • Electrical/Controls/Mechatronics Engineering degree
  • 1- 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Phd desireable
  • Qualification testing of control systems
  • 3D solid modelling desireable
  • Experience with instrumentation, schematics, PCB design and C programming of microcontrollers an advantage
  • Use of MPLAB IDE or similiar
  • Altium DXP schematic capture and hardware design layout or equivalent
The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • As part of the R&D Team, you will be required to work on product concept right through to production
  • Co-operate with the manufacturing, industrial, engineering and production department
  • Generation of specs and BOM's, software and hardware development and the review of customer specifications
  • Review vendor's product offering and reviewing customer specifications
